Day 1Cusco – Cusipata – Phuluwasipata – Rainbow Mountain

Your private adventure begins around 7:00 AM with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Travel in private transportation through the spectacular landscapes of the Peruvian Andes toward Cusipata, where you will enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, continue by private vehicle to Phuluwasipata, the starting point of the hike. From here, begin your ascent toward Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) along a scenic high-altitude trail surrounded by impressive Andean landscapes and views of the Ausangate region.

After approximately 2 hours of hiking, reach the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint at around 5,036 m / 16,522 ft. Take your time to admire the colorful mountain formations, enjoy the panoramic scenery, and capture memorable photographs with your private guide.

You may also choose to visit Red Valley as an optional extension, depending on your preference and local conditions.

After completing the hike, descend to Phuluwasipata and continue by private transportation to Cusipata, where a buffet lunch awaits. Finally, travel back to Cusco and enjoy private hotel drop-off. Arrival time may vary depending on road and traffic conditions.
